Devels head state park / lake, the Merrimac Ferry http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/travel/water/merrimac.htm , and the ice cream were early highlights for me on this day. Can you believe only one flat tire in the group (and one slow leaker) all week?

Terrific blog Ken, thanks. I think some of my noteable points about this years ride were 1) we used pace lines more than ever before. Maybe a statement about our growing confidence as cyclists and ability to team. Although it cuts into the sightseeing as you spend a b it more time looking at the wheel of the person ahead of you. 2) The weather was the best ever. 3) Herb continues to inspire (at least some of) us. 4) This is really a beautiful ride. 5) I’m still younger than my older brother, Mick.

Hi all. It’s so quiet around here. Everyone I run into wonders what’s going on… and then I tell them about you wild ones leaving the streets of Boulder and Lafayette quieter than normal. Glad you’ve had good weather and riding conditions. Nick and I have found some great new wines to share with you when you get back.
